I grew up around animals and volunteered at the RSPCA of Central Australia for 10 years before becoming a full time employee and Animal Inspector. I have many pets of my own, all rescues of course, and have a passion for animals.
As a child I was always saving mice from the jaws of my beloved cat, rescuing injured birds and lizards and nurturing them back to health (much to the disapproval of my parents), helping out on dairy farms or just caring for my own menagerie. I have trained several animals, hand-raised many paws and claws and completed an Animal Care course in 2005 and I am now studying for my certificate in Animal Behavioural studies. I have also done basic veterinary nursing.
Some of my own pets include, Charley & Sukra the pythons, Bruce & Lenny the Silver Sharks, Logan the Loach… and their fishy friends, several dogs ranging from Chihuahua to Sharpei, and a few cats to name a few.
I love working with animals and wouldn’t have it any other way!
