Max, the beloved English Springer Spaniel, was a true hero in every sense of the word. He was awarded the prestigious PDSA Order of Merit for his incredible work in detecting explosive devices and saving countless lives. Max was a loyal and dedicated companion to his handler, Lance Corporal Liam Tasker, who sadly lost his life in Afghanistan while on duty with Max by his side.
