Welcome to Uwish Tibetan Spaniels, a dedicated kennel located in Angle Vale, Playford SA, specializing in the breeding of Tibetan Spaniels. Founded by Andrew and Vanessa Bourne, our journey in the dog world began in 2002, inspired by a legacy of excellence in breeding established by Andrew’s father, Damian Bourne. Our passion for dogs has led us to focus on producing healthy, sound Tibetan Spaniels with outstanding temperaments, ensuring that each puppy is raised as part of our family.
At Uwish, we pride ourselves on our exceptional breeding program, which is anchored by our foundation dogs, Aust Gr Ch Telavier Memories, affectionately known as Mimi, and SE CH & Aust CH Fladerlyckans Azzion, or Fridolf. Mimi has achieved remarkable accolades, including Best in Group at the 2017 Royal Canberra Show, while Fridolf, a Swedish import, has also made a significant impact in the show ring. Our breeding philosophy emphasizes quality over quantity, and we are committed to improving the breed’s conformation and health with each planned litter.
