The establishment has been recognized with GSDCA Bronze and Silver Medals for breed soundness and has successfully bred numerous Class, Best of Breed, Group, and Class in Show winners under both local and international judges. Founded by Colin and Shirley, who both have a rich history with German Shepherds, TAKIMBRE is not just a breeding business but a passion project rooted in love for the breed. Colin’s journey began in 1973 as one of the first Australian Army Guard Dog Handlers, while Shirley has been a devoted German Shepherd owner since the late 1970s.
