Rubystud is a dedicated small kennel located in Tamworth, Northern NSW, specializing in the breeding of purebred show-quality dogs that adhere to the Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) standards. With a focus on Miniature Pinschers, Boston Terriers, and Miniature Dachshunds, Rubystud prides itself on raising puppies in a loving in-house environment, ensuring they are well-socialized and integrated into family life. The journey of Rubystud began with a passion for genetics and dog breeding, cultivated during the owner’s studies at the University of New England. Since acquiring the first foundation dogs—Shiralea Viva La Chocolate (Ruby), Kya, and Blackthai One Chic To Beat (Summer)—the kennel has successfully produced numerous Australian champions. Registered with DogsNSW since 2012, Rubystud has been actively involved in competitive dog showing across NSW and QLD, showcasing the quality and excellence of their breeding program.
