Welcome to RIOTAKT Staffords, a dedicated small hobby kennel located in the picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland of Queensland, Australia. Our commitment to Staffordshire Bull Terriers transcends mere passion; it is a way of life that has been cultivated since our journey began in 2011 with our first pedigree boy, ‘Mags’. Established in 2018, we are proud to be a registered breeder with Dogs Queensland, advocating for the preservation of purebred dogs through ethical breeding practices. Our mission is to produce healthy, structurally-sound family pets with reliable temperaments, ensuring that each Stafford we breed contributes positively to the breed’s legacy.
At RIOTAKT, we prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs. All breeding dogs undergo comprehensive DNA health testing to eliminate hereditary conditions that may affect the breed, such as L2 Hydroxyglutaric Aciduria (L2-HGA), Hereditary Cataracts (HC), and Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). Our puppies are raised indoors, where they are exposed to the dynamics of family life from an early age. We focus on socialization, handling, and providing enriching environments to foster well-rounded and confident companions. Our approach includes introducing litter training and establishing good sleeping routines, making the transition to their new homes smoother for both the puppies and their new families.
We believe in forming lasting relationships with our puppy owners, offering ongoing support and guidance as they welcome a Stafford into their lives. Our dedication to the breed and our families is evident in everything we do, from our careful selection of breeding stock to the nurturing environment we create for our puppies.
