Marsagan Labradors is a dedicated family-run business located in Karalee, Queensland, specializing in the breeding of high-quality working line Labrador Retrievers. Originally established in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2003, the business relocated to Australia in 2015, bringing with it a commitment to excellence in breeding practices. At Marsagan, we prioritize the health and temperament of our dogs, ensuring that all breeding lines are carefully selected from champion pedigrees. Our Labradors are not only bred for their working capabilities but also as loving family pets, making them ideal companions for various lifestyles.
Our breeding program emphasizes the importance of genetic health, with all dogs holding current clear eye certificates and being tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), and other inheritable diseases. Each puppy is born and raised in a nurturing home environment, kept indoors until they are four weeks old, and weaned at eight weeks. By the time they are ready for their new homes, all puppies are microchipped, primo-vaccinated, dewormed, and come with a comprehensive care package that includes a diet sheet, training resources, and six weeks of pet insurance.
