At Laugharne Welsh Springer Spaniels, located in Two Wells, Adelaide Plains SA, we pride ourselves on being more than just a kennel; we consider ourselves a “tapestry” where every dog and owner represents a unique and precious thread. Founded in 1989 by Trevor Marschall and his late wife Beth, our breeding program is dedicated to producing healthy Welsh Springer Spaniels with excellent temperaments while adhering to the breed standard. We have enriched our breeding lines by importing semen from esteemed breeders in Sweden and Finland, ensuring that our dogs not only meet but exceed the expectations of breed enthusiasts.
Our commitment to quality is reflected in our rigorous health testing protocols. All our dogs undergo hip and elbow scoring, as well as eye testing, and are raised in a loving home environment. This nurturing approach has led to the successful breeding of numerous show champions and dogs excelling in obedience, agility, and tracking competitions. We believe that every puppy we produce is a testament to our dedication and passion for the breed, and we strive to connect each of our dogs with loving families who appreciate their unique qualities.
As active members of various canine clubs, including the SA Canine Association and the Welsh Springer Spaniel Social Club of SA, we are deeply embedded in the dog-loving community. We welcome inquiries from prospective owners and are always eager to share our knowledge and experience with those interested in adding a Welsh Springer Spaniel to their family. At Laugharne, we continue to weave our tapestry, constantly searching for new threads to enhance our breeding program and preserve the legacy of this wonderful breed.
