DAVMUR is a dedicated home breeding program located in the picturesque Murrindindi region of Victoria, specializing in the beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed. Founded by Dona Tait, a passionate dog lover who turned her lifelong affection for canines into a breeding venture during her retirement, DAVMUR is not a traditional kennel. Instead, it operates as a small, family-oriented breeding environment where each dog is treated as a cherished member of the family. The dogs enjoy ample space to run and play in a secure, expansive garden and paddocks, ensuring they lead happy and healthy lives.
At DAVMUR, the health and well-being of the dogs are of utmost importance. All breeding dogs undergo rigorous health testing, including ACES Eye Certificates, Heart Certificates, and DNA clearances for common Cavalier health issues such as Curly Coat Dry Eye Syndrome and Episodic Falling. The breeding process is approached with care, and litters are raised in a nurturing home environment, where every need of the mother and her puppies is meticulously attended to. Puppies are VCA registered, micro-chipped, and thoroughly health-checked, ensuring they are ready to join loving families.
