Cannyben Border Collies, established in 1979, is a distinguished kennel dedicated to breeding exceptional Border Collies renowned for their outstanding health, temperament, and adherence to the breed’s innate traits of agility and work ethic. Our dogs are versatile companions, excelling in various activities such as shows, performances, herding, agility, flyball, and therapy work. With decades of experience, we have cultivated a reputation for producing Border Collies that not only meet but exceed the expectations of dog enthusiasts and families alike.
At Cannyben, the health and well-being of our dogs are our top priorities. We conduct rigorous health assessments, including hip scoring and DNA testing for conditions such as Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Cyclic Neutropenia (CL), and Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome (TNS), among others. This unwavering commitment ensures that our Border Collies are not only genetically sound but also ready to become healthy and loving companions for their forever families.
Over the past four decades, our journey with Border Collies has been filled with remarkable experiences, from the early days in the whelping box to the triumphs on the winners’ podium. We are proud to currently campaign two Australian Supreme Champions and are grateful for the wonderful individuals we have connected with both in Australia and around the world.
