Canicula is a dedicated family-run kennel specializing in the breeding of pure working line Spaniels, particularly English Springer and Cocker Spaniels. Our breeding program is meticulously designed to enhance the natural abilities of these dogs for hunting and scent detection, making them ideal candidates for service personnel, government agencies, and high-scoring competition field dogs. We prioritize superior temperaments and a balanced drive in our breeding selections, utilizing both local and overseas lines to ensure the highest quality.
Since our inception in 2002, we have maintained a small-scale breeding operation, focusing on quality over quantity. With only fourteen litters bred over the years, we have established strong ties with like-minded kennels to access a diverse gene pool. Our dogs are not only exceptional working animals but also beloved family pets, accompanying us on hunting trips throughout the year. We take pride in our success in various disciplines, including Obedience, Agility, Field, and Retrieving, showcasing the versatility of our working Spaniels.
