Welcome to CALPAP, a dedicated Papillon breeding kennel located in the beautiful southern suburbs of Newcastle, NSW. Founded by Corinne O’Connell, who has been immersed in the dog world since 1988 and has had a passion for Papillons since 1997, CALPAP is committed to breeding quality dogs in a loving home environment. Our Papillons are not just show dogs; they are cherished family pets who enjoy a balanced lifestyle filled with play, exercise, and affection. Living across from a dog-friendly beach, our dogs thrive in an active setting, engaging in playful activities and socializing with various breeds.
At CALPAP, we pride ourselves on our small-scale breeding approach, focusing on the health and temperament of our dogs rather than quantity. Each litter is born and raised in our home, ensuring that they receive the utmost care and socialization from an early age. We handle our puppies from birth and introduce them to our family, including other dogs and cats, at four weeks old. This nurturing environment helps our Papillons develop into well-adjusted companions, ready to bring joy to their forever homes.
We occasionally have puppies or older dogs available for adoption, and we are actively involved in the Papillon community through clubs such as the Papillon Club NSW and Dogs NSW. Our commitment to responsible breeding practices and the well-being of our dogs is paramount. We invite you to discover the delightful world of Papillons with CALPAP, where every dog is treated like family. Remember, “Papillons are like potato chips; you can’t stop at one!”
