BARADAV Golden Retrievers is a distinguished small kennel located on two and a half acres in Kalbeeba, on the edge of the picturesque Barossa Valley, approximately 45 kilometers north of Adelaide, South Australia. Founded by Barb and David Joseph, BARADAV specializes in breeding high-quality Golden Retrievers, focusing on temperament, conformation, and overall health. With a commitment to excellence, all breeding dogs undergo rigorous health testing, including hip and elbow scoring, heart and eye examinations, and DNA testing for hereditary conditions.
Since their first Golden Retriever, affectionately named “Honey,” joined their family in 1994, Barb and David have cultivated a deep passion for this breed. Their experience extends beyond breeding; they actively participate in dog shows and competitions, including Rally, Obedience, and Dancing with Dogs. This hands-on involvement ensures that BARADAV not only produces beautiful and healthy puppies but also contributes to the breed’s legacy through responsible breeding practices and community engagement.
BARADAV is a proud member of several prestigious clubs, including the SACA, VCA, and the Golden Retriever Clubs of South Australia and Victoria. Each puppy from BARADAV comes with a month of free pet insurance, providing new owners with peace of mind as they welcome their new furry family member.
